Abstract

This interview, recorded in February 2024, in Lisbon, Portugal, with Beatriz Gomes Dias, the first black councilor in the Lisbon City Council elected by the Bloco de Esquerda for the 2021-2025 term, aims to (re)tell the story of people black living in Portugal, recording narratives from black women about their activism activities, personal lives and professional activities, based on this racialized corporeality.
