Abstract


Abstract: The following interview, conducted with Francisco de Castro Mucci, better known as Francisco Bosco, aims to address the role of the public intellectual in their time, seeking to contribute to the debates surrounding Public History and History of the Present Time. It is based on the assumption that dialogue with intellectuals who have been active in the public sphere through their expertise, as is the case with Francisco Bosco, and who have generated necessary readings of the present through a didactic language embedded in the media, can contribute to increasingly effective forms of Brazilian Public History practice.
