A História Oral no Brasil e suas relações com a International Oral History Association (IOHA)

A proposta deste artigo é acompanhar o processo de institucionalização da História Oral no Brasil, que se concretizou em 1994 com a criação da Associação Brasileira de História Oral (ABHO), enfatizando suas relações com a International Oral History Association (IOHA). A ideia é analisar o impacto da nova entidade para a ampliação e diversificação desse campo de pesquisa e demonstrar como os pesquisadores brasileiros trouxeram um grande impacto para o movimento internacional de história oral. Para demonstrar esse ponto, o artigo analisa a participação brasileira nas conferências da IOHA ao longo dos seus 27 anos de existência.
